WHAT IS TALLOW:   Tallow is rendered animal fat, It Contains vitamins A,D,K and E. It Also has anti-microbial properties. Its considered the original skincare, tallow has been historically for nourishing skin. Tallow is a great moisturizer and can be used to soothe and moisturize dry skin. It's thick enough to handle the toughest rough patches, but light enough to absorb quickly into the skin. Plus, it's loaded with vitamins A, D, E and K, antioxidants and essential fatty acids not commonly found in modern day skincare

Tallow contains vitamin D which is fantastic for bone health and vitamin A, which supports healthy skin, eyesight and teeth. The high saturated fat content of tallow, it's 50% by the way, means these fat-soluble vitamins will also be better absorbed into the body.

The vitamin E in tallow is very beneficial for aging skin. Its antioxidant properties protect the skin from UV exposure and reduce the associated damage (10). Tallow also fights free radical damage and may reduce the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. It also may make skin very soft with daily use.

NO! We use the wet rendering method for making our tallow. It does take a longer time to purify the tallow but it is the best method (in our opinion) to render tallow for cooking or making soap, tallow balm, or candles with no beef smell.

What I really like about this method is that it isn’t technically a refining process. None of the nutrients or beneficial properties of the tallow are altered, as they would be in refined and deodorized tallow that is available commercially. You get the best of both worlds: gorgeous, white, odorless tallow, with all the great benefits.

Since it's rendered animal fat, tallow is incredibly similar to the chemistry of our own skin. So, when issues like dryness, acne, or eczema arise, tallow can soothe the skin and provide the exact mineral requirements needed for optimal healing.

Tallow doesn't clog pores and works with your sebaceous glands. Vitamin A in tallow helps our sebaceous glands and skin operate at their optimal capacity when used correctly. Vitamin A is known for helping our cells turnover faster, which reduces acne and skin irritation.

No, tallow is noncomedogenic (source). Since it is so compatible with how our skin is made and our skin's natural sebum, tallow works with our skin to moisturize, soothe, and repair it without clogging pores.

Tallow contains loads of vitamins A, D, K and E; so much that a lot of people apply it directly onto their skin. It's great for your hair because it reduces itchy scalp, smooths out any frizz and, it's able to give your hair some amazing shine.
